fun with rationalizations

I don't think you ever really understand how selfish suicide really is until you first give it serious consideration. And after it's been considered and accepted as, if not rational, at least plausible a decision, then it's off to weigh the post-existential consequences. Yes, I have quite a bit of responsibility and significant influence on the lives of others. Certainly, leaving my children fatherless would be beyond gutless. Others have made emotional investments in me as well. So, I will keep the operatic acts going. But it's a curious feeling, knowing that I've actually arrived at the other side of life's value proposition. Plus, offing yourself is work. It seems i've finally found a benefit to being lazy, guilt-ridden, and anti-gun.

Cheers and happy Friday
